Snorkelling is a simple and relaxing way to view the colourful and fascinating world just beneath the ocean’s surface.
Snorkelers use a clear plastic mask and a short tube to breathe while floating face-down on the surface of the water.
This way you can observe coral and marine life without scaring them away the fish with your movements and without having to come up for air every minute or being professional swimmers.
Together with a local and experienced guide you can enjoy the underwater world while learning about the marine life, its relevant environment and swimming in the most amazing spots.
Your guide will also be able to help you out with your equipment and will teach some good techniques while entering or exiting the sea.
The snorkelling programme consists of the following:
- DAY SNORKELLING (morning/or afternoon)
- SUNSET SNORKELLING
- NIGHT SNORKELLING
At sunset and with the help of a torch you will see changes in colours and observe the fishes while sleeping and those who go hunting.
The equipment comprises of a mask, fins and a snorkel. In case you might feel more confortable you may use a swim vest specific for snorkellers. All the equipment can be rented in our diving centre. It is not allowed to step on the bottom of the sea unless this one is all sandy, otherwise the fins might destroy the delicate corals or other marine life.
Furthermore you risk to hurt yourself on the rocks.
